NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF
CITY OF BOSTON CREDIT UNION

On March 10, 2020, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (“Governor”) declared a State of Emergency in Executive Order No. 591 in response to the COVID – 19 virus.  (“Declaration”).

Pursuant to the Declaration, on March 15, 2020, the Governor issued an Order (“Order”) prohibiting gatherings or assemblages of more than 25 people in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Gatherings or assemblages subject to the Order include, but are not limited to, in pertinent part, community, civic, public or any similar events that bring together 25 or more persons in a single room or single space at the same time in a venue such as in a large conference room, meeting hall, or any other confined indoor space.

In order to comply with the Declaration and Order, notice is hereby given that the City of Boston Credit Union has postponed its Annual Meeting of members that was scheduled to be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 in the City Council Chamber, 5th Floor, City Hall, City Hall Plaza, Boston, at 9:00 a.m.

When the Declaration and Order have been lifted, and are no longer in effect, the City of Boston Credit Union will hold the Annual Meeting of members.  When the Declaration and Order have been lifted, notice of the Annual Meeting will be posted and maintained in accordance with the By-Laws of the Credit Union in the main office and all branch offices of the Credit Union and on the website of the Credit Union at least fourteen (14) days before the date of such meeting.  Such notice will state the day, hour and place of the meeting and will contain a brief statement of the nature of the business to be acted upon.
